Questions about ordering and payment

How an order moves from enquiry to invoice, and what happens if plans change. Nothing is bought on this site; every order starts with a conversation.

How do I order a service?

Send an enquiry through the contact page describing your studio and what you need. We reply with questions, and sometimes a site visit, then send a written quotation. When you confirm it in writing, we agree dates. Nothing is purchased on the website itself, and there is no online checkout.

How do I pay?

Once the work is confirmed we issue an invoice, which you pay by bank transfer using the details printed on it. We do not take card payments or use online payment services. Larger projects can be invoiced in stages, which is set out in the written quotation before you agree.

What does a quoted price include?

The quotation lists the planning, site days, equipment handling, commissioning, documentation and any training that are part of the job. Anything outside that list is stated as an extra. Hardware purchased on your behalf is itemised separately so you can see exactly what each part costs.

What can change the price?

Room size and ceiling height, the amount of existing cabling and equipment, the number of camera positions, and how much work must be done outside transmission hours all affect the figure. Travel beyond York and complex integration with older systems can also add time. We explain any change before it is applied.

Can I cancel after confirming?

Yes. Cancellations are handled under our payment and refund policy, which sets out what applies depending on how close the work is to starting and what has already been done. Tell us as early as you can in writing, and we will confirm the position in return.

How are refunds paid?

Where a refund is due under the payment and refund policy, it is paid back by bank transfer to the account the original payment came from. We confirm the amount in writing first. The policy explains which costs are refundable and which relate to work already carried out.

Are the calculator figures a fixed price?

No. The calculator gives a guide based on typical days and camera positions, so you can judge the scale of a project. The price you pay is the one in your written quotation, agreed after we understand the room, your equipment and the programme.

Is VAT included in the prices?

Guide prices are shown without VAT. Where VAT applies to your order it is added and shown as a separate line on the quotation and invoice, so the total you are asked to pay is always clear before you confirm anything.
